Dactyloscopus lunaticus, known commonly as the Moonstruck stargazer in Mexico,[1] is a species of sand stargazer in the genus Dactyloscopus.[2] It is a tropical blenny found around Mexico and the Gulf of Panama, in the eastern central Pacific Ocean.[2] It was named by C.H. Gilbert in 1890.[3] Blennies in this species swim at a maximum depth of 60 metres.[2]
